About

Hello!

I’m the education reporter at The Palm Beach Post newspaper in West Palm Beach, Florida.

I cover K-12 schools at The Post — where I dig into the issues that impact students, parents, teachers, staff at the nation’s 10th largest school district.

In 2023, I received the Lucy Morgan award for in-depth reporting from the Florida Press Club. You can read more about it here and see more of my recent media appearances below.

When I’m not filing records requests and reporting on the issues that matter to our community, you can find me running, kayaking, taking my dog to the beach and working through my reading list.

I’m at (561) 820-4146 and at kkokal@pbpost.com
